Yeah, right.
There have been and will continue to be plenty of things I don't like about Microsoft, but take a look at
this blog post from Josh Ledgard. Then tell me that Microsoft doesn't want input from its customers.
I realize that one fellow isn't Microsoft in its entirety, but I still think this is 1) a great thing to see for Microsoft and 2) an amazing use of blogs.

Thanks for the plug! Yeah, blogs have been great for this type of feedback where the issue probably doesn't require costly usability studies and we can post it, get 50 comments, and use those to feel more informed about our choices.

Additionally, the turn time is so much shorter! Would you have been able to get such feedback so quickly if you'd had to commission a usability study? Ha!
Don't get me wrong, such studies are important, but blogs provide a neat compliment to expensive studies.
